A young lawyer Enzo is assigned to a gloomy village in the mists of eastern Europe. He is captured and imprisoned by the undead vampire Klaus, who travels to London, inspired by a photograph of Enzo’s betrothed, the beautiful Bonnie Bennett, who resembles his lost wife. In Britain, Klaus begins a seduction game with Bonnie Bennett, who proves herself to be lovely, witty and a more delicious challenge that he previous thought. An ancient power flows in her veins and she wouldn’t be easily charmed by the handsome vampire.
When Bonnie comes to New Orleans to help Klaus fight his latest foe, she is wounded in battle. He does not hesitate to come to her aid, healing her with his blood.
