One of my favorite thing about fandom is the fan fiction rabbit hole I always fall in. Like at first, upon finishing the canon material, I’m all “ok I want cannon verse fic, tell me what happens after the story, or before, but I’m super critical of characterization and relation to canon events” and now, my ass out here like “Alright how about a *spins wheel* Victorian Era *spin* bakery AU with *throws dart* a slow burn love triangle”

by her male colleagues. When she gains the power to hear men’s
thoughts, she is able to shift the paradigm to her advantage as she

It’s important for me to stay positive and always be my biggest fan. It’s important for me to believe in me! When no one is cheering me on, I will be cheering for myself. My parents taught me this at an early age. It’s important to give positive energy to help other people. – Caleb McLaughlin for VMan

Just a friendly reminder that the end of net neutrality will also be the end of independent writers and artists having online access to their audiences. Do some research, spread the word, make a phone call if you can. Net neutrality is serious business for everyone, and it’s especially important for indie writers. I mean, it’d be cool to go back to trading paper zines via snail mail, but I’d prefer to have access to y’all’s work online as well. Social media sites already make it hard enough with their algorithms, etc. I’d hate to see the entire internet turn against us. Let’s not let them do it. Okay? ❤
